Communication services
Through this range of activities Byggecentrum offers to carry out integrated communication and information tasks for our clients. The communication services comprise of coordination of information and marketing campaigns as well as individual information activities such as administration and distribution of brochures, exhibitions, advertising and press campaigns, and other consultancy services.

Bookstore
The bookstore is specialized in extensive literature about architecture, construction and other technical issues and is the largest supplier of its kind in Denmark. It carries out various marketing activities for companies, organisations and authorities and is the main administrator of subscriptions on technical publications in Denmark.

Natural Colour System (NCS)
The Natural Colour System (NCS) is a language describing and denoting colours as they are perceived by man. NSC is a standardised and logical colour system and with NCS colour samples one has an efficient tool for working with colours. Byggecentrum has the exclusive right of selling for NCS in Denmark.

Publishing
Byggecentrum publishes and distributes BYGGEDATA - a collection containing 7,000 pages with updated laws, regulations and technical knowledge etc. concerning the construction of buildings in Denmark. BYGGEDATA is also available on CD-ROM and the internet.

V&S Price and Calculation standards and Ludoc Constructor are essential tools used by thousands of architects, engineers and contractors making calculations and descriptions of building projects.

Byggecentrum has established the web-community, BygNet, with construction related information based on the professional user's requirements here on this page.

Easily accessible product information, publications, conference and educational activities, architectural and design competitions, and daily news can be found and used directly. Focus is given to frequent updates providing users with the latest information.


Exhibitions of construction products
Byggecentrum provides exhibitions in Ballerup and Middelfart. These inspiring showrooms are a forum for both professionals and private house owners to collect information about building and construction products. Altogether, the exhibitors represent the total expertise and specialized knowledge within the construction industry in Denmark.

Furthermore the exhibitions contain a Product Information Service with hand-outs of more than 1,000 different product brochures.

In Ballerup Copenhagen there are approx. 150 exhibitors in a 3,000 m2 indoor exhibition area.

In Middelfart - on the island of Funen - there are approx. 350 exhibitors in a 3,000 m2 indoor area and a 28,000 m2 outdoor exhibition, displaying the latest in holiday cottages, winter gardens and various outdoor equipment for gardens and terraces.

In-service training, courses, and conferences
Byggecentrum provides expertise and updated knowledge concerning construction and planning within the sector. We develop and carry out in-service training to professionals through a variety of post-graduate courses, seminars, conferences and meetings.

Conference Centres
The Conference and Training Centres in Middelfart and Ballerup provide professional and modern environments for conferences, courses and meetings. The Conference Centres provide unique teaching ambiances and full board accommodations for up to 180 persons at a time.

The professional staff handles all planning and practical arrangements concerning courses, seminars, conferences and meetings. The staff is trained to deal with new demands and changes of programs. The restaurant prepares menu’s of modern and healthy food of high quality.

Byggecentrum - an independent fund
Byggecentrum is a non-profit independent fund, working on a commercial basis. It was established in 1956 by the Danish Ministry of Economy and Business Affairs and the Danish building industry. Byggecentrum is a member of UICB (The International Union of Building Centres).
